Lisbon: A mainly dry weekend is forecast for the capital with average daily highs of 16 degrees and average nightly lows of 8 degrees. From Monday intermittent cloud and sunshine is predicted with highs of 17 degrees and lows of 7 degrees. On Tuesday and Wednesday there will be a slight chance of rain.

The north: Sunny spells are expected on Saturday and hazy high cloud on Sunday with temperatures averaging highs of 17 degrees and dropping to lows of 2 degrees on Saturday and 5 degrees on Sunday. Cloud cover is to increase from Tuesday, as is the chance of rain, with average highs of 18 degrees.

The centre: Hazy high cloud is predicted in the centre over the weekend with temperatures peaking at highs of 14 degrees and dropping to lows of 4 degrees. From Monday cloud cover is to increase slightly with intermittent cloud cover and temperatures are to rise to highs of 15 degrees and lows of 5 degrees.

The south: There will be a slight chance of rain over the weekend although it is to be mainly dry and bright with highs of 16 degrees and lows of 10 degrees. From Monday periods of sunny spells and cloud are forecast and highs are to rise to peaks of 17 degrees and drop to average lows of 9 degrees at night.

Madeira: Rain is expected on Saturday, although it is to be lighter than the downpours on Friday. By Sunday it is to be mainly dry with highs of 20 degrees and lows of 15 degrees. There will be a chance of rain for the rest of the following week although temperatures will remain mild with highs of 22 degrees.

The Azores: Saturday is to be dry with intermittent cloud cover and temperatures peaking at 16 degrees. On Sunday showers are forecast and these are to continue on Monday before drying out again on Tuesday when temperatures are to peak at 17 degrees.
