“I think we now have a clear idea of what we can improve this weekend. The team did a fantastic job in such a short time to give me a competitive bike for Sunday’s race”, recalled the Portuguese rider, in a statement broadcast by the Tech3 team’s press office.
Miguel Oliveira hopes now that the work to be done “Friday and Saturday” can give him “some ideas on what to do for Sunday’s race”.
Almada’s driver aims to “be in the front group, fighting for a position among the top five again”. “I’m very excited to continue our path at this circuit this weekend”, concluded the Portuguese KTM driver.
The GP of Comunidad Valenciana is the 13th and penultimate race of the season.
Miguel Oliveira is currently 10th in the MotoGP championship, with 90 points, just two from ninth place, the Australian Jack Miller (Ducati).
The last race of the season will take place on 22 November at the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve, in Portimão.
