The project was on a list of eight world finalists and competed with countries like the USA, Mexico, Denmark or Australia. “We are talking about a unique example of the harmonization between the preservation of biodiversity that exists in these cities and its use by the population, characteristics that give it distinction, but also modernity”, reads the note, according to Lusa.
