The average RSI provision was 119.11 Euros per beneficiary, 0.2 percent more than in the previous month (118.89 Euros) and 2.4 percent more than in November 2019 (116.31 Euros), says the synthesis of the Strategy and Planning Office (GEP) of the Ministry of Labour, Solidarity and Social Security.

By age, RSI beneficiaries under 18 years old constituted 32.4 percent of the total, those aged between 18 and 29 years old represented 14.0 percent, the group between 30 and 39 years old represented 11.1 percent, between 40 and 49 years old 13.9 percent, from 50 to 59 years old 17.4 percent and people aged 60 or more made up the remaining 11.2 percent.

The social benefit for inclusion was attributed to 110,996 people in November, registering an increase of 97 beneficiaries compared to the revised value of the previous month, which represents a slight increase of 0.1 percent, and an increase of 7.2 percent, compared to November 2019.

Regarding the number of beneficiaries of parental benefits, in November it stood at 40,938 people, which represents a decrease of 1.1 percent compared to the previous month and 5.5 percent in relation to November 2019.

The data also indicates that in November there was an increase of 28.8 percent in the number of benefits due to illness, which results in a total of 219,922 benefits.

“As in previous months, these totals include the losses due to contagion due to the new coronavirus and the subsidy for prophylactic isolation grouped with the subsidy for tuberculosis”, says Social Security, according to Lusa News Agency.
