Outgoing President of the United States of America, Donald Trump, has announced the reopening of airspace for the European Union, United Kingdom and Brazil from January 26, according to an executive order.

With an order to reopen the borders, Trump lifts the ban on entry into the country applied in 2020, in the context of the covid-19 pandemic. The date chosen by the Republican president coincides with the requirement of a negative covid-19 test for all international air passengers, including US citizens, bound for the United States of America, announced by the Centre for Disease Control (CDC).
