Lisbon: It is to a mainly wet weekend in the capital with the highest chance of rain being on Sunday and temperatures to average highs of 14 degrees and lows of 9 degrees. The rain is to continue for the remainder of the week although intermittent sunshine is predicted and temperatures are to peak at 15 degrees.

The north: The rain is to continue in the north over the weekend with a chance of sunny spells on Saturday and temperatures reaching highs of 12 degrees and lows of 5 degrees. Much of the same is expected for the rest of the week with average daily highs of 14 degrees and nightly lows of 9 degrees predicted.

The centre: Heavy rain is due over the weekend with temperatures peaking at 9 degrees and dropping to lows of 3 degrees. The rain is to continue for the rest of the week with a chance of sunny spells later in the week and average highs of 11 degrees and nightly lows of 6 degrees.

The south: The best of the weather is predicted for Saturday in the south with only a slight chance of rain and temperatures reaching highs of 15 degrees and lows of 9 degrees. The rest of the weekend and following week is to be a mixture of sunshine and showers with average highs 17 degrees and nightly lows of 10 degrees.

Madeira: It will be mainly warm and dry in Madeira over the weekend with only a slight chance of rain and temperatures reaching highs of 20 degrees and lows of 13 degrees. The rest of the week is to be much the same although the chance of rain is to increase on Tuesday and Wednesday to around 25%.

The Azores: There is a high chance of rain all weekend in the Azores with temperatures peaking at 16 degrees and lows of 12 degrees. The remainder of the week will see a mixture of sunshine and showers with the heaviest of the rain predicted for the end of the week.
