Viktor Hovland won his first European Tour Golfer of the Month award after an impressive display of golf in February on both sides of the Atlantic. The 23-year-old Norwegian won with 58 per cent of the vote after finishing tied second at the WGC-Workday Championship at The Concession and sixth at the Saudi International powered by Softbank Investment Advisers.

Hovland was seven strokes off the pace after a quadruple bogey eight on his 36th hole at the WGC-Workday Championship, but battled back to finish an impressive second in just his second World Golf Championships event.

Collin Morikawa came in second place with 28.8 per cent of the public vote. The American won his first World Golf Championships title at the WGC-Workday Championship at The Concession as he put on a clinic to win by three strokes.
Billy Horschel came in third after finishing tied for second at The Concession, followed by Tony Finau who was runner-up to Dustin Johnson at the Saudi International and 14th in Florida.
