Lisbon: The temperatures are on the rise in the capital this weekend reaching peaks of 26 degrees on Sunday and dropping to lows of 10 degrees. From Monday the thermometers are to begin to dip slightly and will be down to average highs of 23 degrees by Wednesday when there will also be a slight chance of rain.

The north: Clear skies and warm temperatures will feature all weekend in the north with average daily highs of 20 degrees and nightly lows of 7 degrees. Cloud cover is to creep in by Monday but it is to remain warm with highs of 19 degrees. From Wednesday there will be a chance of rain as dark clouds roll in.

The centre: It will be feeling warm this weekend with average highs of 24 degrees and nightly lows of 12 degrees. The temperatures are to drop slightly from Tuesday as cloud cover increases with further rain clouds moving in from Wednesday and the chance of rain increasing as the week progresses.

The south: The south of the country is going to see the highest temperatures this weekend, peaking at 26 degrees on Saturday and with nightly lows dropping to 14 degrees. From Monday it will feel slightly cooler and from Tuesday the cloud cover is to increase with a 40 percent chance of rain by the end of the week.

Madeira: Rain is expected on Saturday in Madeira although this is predicted to ease by Sunday when temperatures are to reach highs of 23 degrees and nightly lows of 16 degrees. It is to be mainly dry from Monday and for the rest of the week with temperatures reaching highs of 22 degrees and lows of 15 degrees.

The Azores: It is to be a dry and mainly bright weekend in the Azores with temperatures reaching daily average highs of 16 degrees and dropping to lows of 12 degrees. The rain clouds are set to return from Tuesday with showers to continue for the remainder of the week and average daily highs of 17 degrees.
