"As a result of the operational activity of the security forces and services there were three deaths, seven wounded with the need for hospitalisation, and 846 light injuries," according to the 2020 RASI, which was delivered to parliament on 31 March.

In 2019, no deaths were recorded among security forces personnel on duty.

Of the seven injured requiring hospitalisation, two were from the National Republican Guard, three from the Public Security Police and two from the Judiciary Police, with one less injured in 2020 than in 2019.

The RASI reports that 226 fewer police officers suffered minor injuries in 2020 than in 2019.

According to the document, 582 PSP officers, 226 GNR military personnel, 35 PJ inspectors and three Maritime Police officers suffered minor injuries.

In 2020, general crime was down about 11 percent compared to 2019 and violent and serious crime was down more than 13 percent.
