Portugal will today continue to reopen the national economy with the lifting of several restrictions in place since January.
Among the measures in place as from today are the return to school for students up to Year 9 and gatherings at street cafés and restaurants in groups of up to four people, though they will have to shut at 1pm on weekends.
Stores with direct street access up to 200m2 are also to open their doors to customers today, while supermarkets will also be able to reopen aisles previously closed.
Gyms will reopen and sports with no more four participants will also be permitted.
