Portugal was expected to submit its plan today or tomorrow.

Spanish press took advantage of Portugal’s president and prime minister being in Andorra, where they participated in the Ibero-American Summit, to ascertain from diplomatic sources that Portugal’s intention is to have a part of the funds available before it completes the presidency of the Council of the European Union before the end of June.

At issue is a value of around 14 billion euros in grants, but to which can be added an amount of 2.3 billion in loans, something that the Government is still analysing.
