Hundreds of passengers held up at Lisbon airportIn News, COVID-19, Lisbon · 27 Apr 2021, 10:14 · 3 Comments
Hundreds of passengers were held up at Lisbon airport as immigration officials struggled to deal with an increase in arrivals.
The situation is said to have been caused by the several flights touching down within short intervals of one another at Humberto Delgado. Queues then grew as officials carried out checks on confirmed additional documentation. These included valid Covid PCR tests and a travel form that many passengers had failed to fill in before arriving at passport counters as is required under current state of emergency rules.
