According to the Pollen Bulletin released by the Portuguese Society of Allergology and Clinical Immunology (SPAIC), higher concentrations of pollen in the atmosphere are predicted until 13 May, which could potentially affect those with allergies or respiratory issues.

The high levels of pollen are expected in the regions of Castelo Branco, Lisbon, Évora and Faro, with pollen from olive, pine and cork trees, and grasses behind the high levels.
