In terms of revenue, the Algarve suffered a drop of 27.4% and Madeira 21.6%, according to data from the Directorate Regional Statistics Office (DREM).
Madeira and the Algarve suffered losses well above the national average, in terms of turnover, which nationally dropped by 14.3%.
