A small company with a big reputation

Summer is almost here and perhaps time to make plans to get a chimney clean and ready for a warm winter with one of our fires. Even though the Algarve winter may be mild and sunny, inside the house the chill begins! The burning season is longer than first thought.

Fires of Portugal have been here to solve this problem since 2000 supplying and installing log burning, pellet and gas fires. This family firm was started by Geoff and Carol and were joined 5 years ago by daughter Eva and husband Samuel. Their young approach and new ideas are expanding on Geoff’s knowledge and experience and Samuel makes his own mark on the company.

A new era has begun with the Pellet stoves and burners, these are a clean and efficient alternative to a classic wood-burning stove. With minimal smoke output and fuel made from a renewable source of recycled waste wood, pellet burners are kind to the environment and offer convenient and user-friendly warmth to your home. These contemporary stoves with remote control turn your equipment on and off as well as regulate the temperature. When it comes to pellet inserts, the remote control is much more versatile, allowing you to perform various configurations. All with a single click.

The option of Wi-Fi is now available - all you need is a smartphone, an app and a Wi-Fi kit. This technology allows you to control your equipment from anywhere in the world.

Based in Salir, they install fires all along the Algarve. Other services include professional chimney sweeps, general fire related building works and servicing.

Unfortunately they don't appear to be able to respond to e-mails. If jobs are outside thier area of competance or profitable area of coverage, just say so, don't ignore e-mails. 1 out of 10 for customer service in the sale phase.
