According to the Energy Services Regulatory Authority (ERSE), "the estimated impact of updating the energy tariff for consumers in the regulated market is 3%, in relation to current prices, on the total electricity bill (with VAT)”.
Electricity prices are set to rise from 1 July for domestic customers in the regulated market, reflecting rising energy prices in wholesale markets, the regulator announced.
