Despite rising in the Portuguese ranks, the 32-year-old from Guimarães, has dropped 11 positions in the world rankings and is now in 120th place.

Pedro Sousa, 33, is now in 121st place in the ATP ranking, after dropping 13 places in the table.

Portuguese players Frederico Silva and João Domingues are currently ranked in 176th and 242nd places, respectively.

Gastão Elias, unlike João Sousa, Pedro Sousa, Frederico Silva and João Domingues, climbed some levels in the ranking, after his appearance in the semi-finals in the Forli challenger, in Italy, and is now ranked 245th, while Nuno Borges dropped one position to 269th place and Gonçalo Oliveira is in 296th place.

In the female rankings, led by the Australian Ashleigh Barty, with Japanese Naomi Osaka and Romanian Simona Halep, in second and third places, there was only one change among the top 10, with the rise of the Ukrainian Elina Svitolina to fifth position, over taking American Sofia Kenin, who is now placed in sixth.
