A source from the Civil Protection District Command (CDOS) of Viana do Castelo said that no occurrences resulting from the earthquake were recorded.
According to information consulted on the IPMA website, the epicenter of the earthquake occurred 19 kilometers east - Northeast of Melgaço, Viana do Castelo.
