The task force that coordinates the vaccination plan said in a statement that, although there are already about 165,000 young people aged 15 and 16 with a confirmed appointment for this past weekend, it was decided to open the “Open House” walk in vaccine should be available for those 16 and over who are not scheduled and have not been infected with Covid-19 in the past six months.
Please, remember that to use the “Open House” digital password system, you’ll have to access the portal https://covid19.min-saude.pt/senha-digital-casa-aberta/ and get a password on the day you want to be vaccinated, that must be at a Vaccination Center located in your municipality of residence.
According to the task force, the number of tickets available depends on the availability of vaccines at each vaccination center.
When requesting the digital password, the user must check in advance on the portal (https://covid19.min-saude.pt/cvc/) if the intended vaccination center has the “green traffic light”.
“After filling out and submitting the form, you should receive your digital password with the respective number and estimated hour”, explains the task force.
In the “open house” walk in vaccine, first doses of eligible people who have not scheduled and, who have not been infected with Covid-19 in the past six months are vaccinated, with the aim of ensuring that all eligible people are called to the vaccination process.
The opening hours of the “open house” can be found at https://covid19.min-saude.pt/casa_aberta.
The most recent DGS data on vaccination counts 7,330,505 residents in Portugal (71 percent) with at least one dose of vaccine administered and 6,403,987 people (62 percent) with complete vaccination.
