It is to be dry and bright in the capital with temperatures peaking this weekend at highs of 27 degrees and dropping to lows of 15 degrees. Monday and Tuesday are to feel a little warmer with highs of 29 degrees before starting to drop again on Wednesday, although it will remain dry and fine.


The north

Hazy sunshine is expected on Saturday but this is to clear on Sunday for blue skies and temperatures reaching highs of 26 degrees. From Monday intermittent cloud is predicted but it will remain dry with no chance of rain and temperatures are to average highs of 25 degrees and lows of 11 degrees.


The centre

A warm and bright weekend is expected, with temperatures peaking at 27 degrees and dropping to lows of 15 degrees. Cloud cover is to increase from Monday but it will remain warm with average highs of 26 degrees and lows of 13 degrees. Winds are to remain north-easterly on the whole.


The south

Temperatures are to remain warm over the weekend, averaging highs of 27 degrees, although high cloud will make the sunshine hazy. From Monday, prolonged sunny spells are expected and temperatures are to stay steady for the rest of the week averaging highs of 26 degrees.


Madeira

The weather is to remain dry and settled in Madeira with temperatures averaging highs of 27 degrees over the weekend. From Monday the thermometer is to fall slightly to highs of 26 degrees and there will be a slight chance of rain each day.


The Azores

The weekend is to be dry and warm with highs of 24 degrees and lows of 20 degrees. From Monday the rain clouds are to return with heavy showers until Tuesday before becoming lighter from Wednesday.
