At a press conference at the end of the meeting, the Deputy Secretary of State and Fiscal Affairs, António Mendonça Mendes, reported that the programme will work in a similar way to IVAucher, being transferred directly to the taxpayer's account.

Taxpayers will have to join the system, similar to IVAucher, and those who have already joined will not have to re-subscribe, and will receive the discount within two working days after purchasing the fuel.

The secretary of state also explained that, if the discount of 10 cents per 50 litres is not used, that is, €5, in a month, it will accumulate with the value of the following month.
