Lisbon: Fair weather is to return to the capital with clear skies throughout the weekend and temperatures reaching highs of 17 degrees. It will feel cool in the evenings though with lows of 7 degrees. Intermittent cloud cover is expected for the rest of the week with only a slight chance of rain.

The north: Sunny spells are expected over the weekend with temperatures peaking at 18 degrees but dropping to lows of 4 degrees, making the evenings feel very cold. From Monday cloud cover is to increase which will see temperatures rising slightly to highs of 20 degrees and lows of 7 degrees.

The centre: During the day it will be clear and bright over the weekend but it will be feeling cool with daily highs only reaching 13 degrees and nightly lows of 3 degrees. From Monday the clouds are set to return and this will help temperatures to rise up to highs of 16 degrees and average lows of 6 degrees.

The south: It is to be bright and sunny over the weekend with daily highs of 18 degrees and nightly lows of 10 degrees. Intermittent cloud is expected from Monday allowing temperatures to rise to average highs of 20 degrees and nightly lows of 11 degrees, while there will be almost no chance of rain.

Madeira: Sunny spells are predicted for the weekend with temperatures averaging highs of 23 degrees and lows of 18 degrees. From Monday the clouds are to clear slightly and for the remainder of the week temperatures are to average highs of 24 degrees and lows of 17 degrees.

The Azores: Light rain is expected on Saturday before sunny spells appearing on Sunday when temperatures are to peak at 22 degrees and drop to lows of 19 degrees. From Monday a mixture of sunshine and showers is predicted with temperatures averaging highs of 22 degrees and lows of 18 degrees.
