Unleaded saw the biggest drop in eight months, a week after barrel prices fell in international markets.
Unleaded 95 petrol was a cent and a half cheaper. Diesel dropped by two cents.
This is the biggest weekly drop in diesel prices since May.

Fuel is still too cheap. Look how many private cars drive around with only one person in! Double the price. The POMS and YANKS can afford it!

Marco. Do you deny that too many cars have only one occupant? As for what the Portuguese can afford, I only have to open my mouth to find quoted prices are at least double that quoted to Portuguese. A two tier price system operates here, one for Portuguese, one for foreigners.

The two tier living standard in Portugal is most flagrant in the housing sector. As for cars in Portugal... when will there be decent public transport?? Portugal still thinks that public transport is for the poor and so keeps public transport vile and inefficient. That is no way to develop a country. Then again, there is no will nor interest in developing Portugal which continues to be a backward country in the EU.

Whats the problem with one occupant in car!!! i cant drag someone to sit with me while i need to go about with my job. Public transport in crowded city is fine, but absolutely makes no sense in the suburbs. they would run empty most of the times. cheaper private transport is convenient and better.
