At a time when, to access hospitals, nursing homes, clubs or large public events, people are required to present a negative test certificate, the demand for tests in pharmacies has soared and some are already out of stock and without a date for new deliveries.

The National Association of Pharmacies (ANF) admitted the lack of tests, but guarantees that between this Friday and next Monday there will be more tests in stock.

In addition to the high demand, by the end of Thursday afternoon there were only 673 pharmacies and 181 laboratories that adhered to the regime that allows the realisation of four free tests per month, regardless of vaccination status or age. To these, there are about 200 more pharmacies that have made protocols with the municipalities.
