GNR close cafe with around 150 people inside

The GNR has closed a café in Santa Leocádia de Geraz do Lima, in Viana do Castelo, with around 150 people inside, who were not following Covid-19 prevention measures.

In a statement the Territorial Command of the GNR of Viana do Castelo, said that the operation was triggered following "a complaint of noise in the aforementioned establishment".

At the scene the GNR verified that there were about 150 people inside the cafe, which was operating “outside the permitted hours, and where a party was also taking place with the use of an unlicensed dance space, in complete disrespect for the measures in force in the scope of the Covid-19 pandemic”.

Yes Fred; be grateful someone is following orders to protect the spread from selfish people who disrespect their own health and those of those that follow the rules and protect one another. With all the disinformation what it takes these days is for an uninformed person or disbeliever to be on their deathbed or lose someone they love; and then it's too late. Go online and watch some of the videos of people dying making a plea from the hospital bed to get vaccinated; NOT FAKE NEWS buddy!
