The same document states that the purpose of this commission is to "define the guidelines for social intervention within the scope of the inclusion of people with disabilities, with a view to ensuring the full exercise of citizenship rights inherent to any member of a democratic society, promoting the autonomy, participation and self-determination of these people.

The Madeiran government also approved the proposal that regulates the activities of distribution, sale, application and use of plant protection products for professional use and adjuvants for plant protection products.

It also established the regime of mandatory inspection of equipment for the application of plant protection products authorised for professional use in the Autonomous Region of Madeira.
