“The Lisbon City Council, despite what the pandemic situation is and which we hope does not evolve in a negative direction, obviously wants this year for the popular marches to return to the street, for the Lisbon parties to be working at 100%”, said Councillor Diogo Moura (CDS-PP), within the scope of a hearing on the municipal budget for 2022.

“The marches are the high point, so very soon we will also proceed with all the procedures related to the popular marches”, indicated the councillor for Culture.

In the context of the covid-19 pandemic, the municipality of Lisbon, under the leadership of Fernando Medina (PS), cancelled the city's parties over the last two years.
