Revenues from tourist activity totalled €892.12 million in November 2021, a value that represents a decrease of 9.5% compared to the same period of 2019, and even reflects an increase of 135.5% compared to the same month of 2020, according to the Bank of Portugal (BdP).

According to data regarding the November Balance of Payments, tourist revenues - which result from spending by foreign tourists in Portugal - showed an approximation to the €986.06 million that had been spent in November 2019, even before the arrival of the pandemic, and were well above the €378.81 million recorded in the same month of 2020.
