Meo has informed customers that, “to facilitate communications and bring families together”, it “temporarily offers all its customers international mobile calls to Ukraine and makes the Ukrainian TV pack available free of charge” . This measure, according to the operator of Altice Portugal, is in force until March 15, “and may be extended as the situation evolves”.

Nowo has said its customers can make calls to Ukraine free of charge. “In light of current events, Nowo has decided to offer international calls to Ukraine in order to help all those who need to get in touch with their family members, friends who are currently in this country”, adds the operator, in a statement, noting that the conditions, also in force until 15 March, “may be extended” depending on the “evolving of the situation”.

Contacted by Lusa, Vodafone said that, “following the events in Ukraine”, it decided, “not to tax international communications originating in Portugal and destined for Ukraine”, as well as “not taxing communications carried out while roaming in Ukraine”. These measures are in force “until the 15 March”, says Vodafone Portugal.

NOS official source told Lusa that “calls and SMS to Ukraine will not be charged”.
