According to a report by ECO, CEO of Pingo Doce, Isabel Ferreira Pinto, said that the group will “increase [the value] by about 50 euros”, compared to the 500 euros that was awarded last year.

“We are still closing [the exact amount] and in the process of evaluation, it will only be in a month from now [it will be defined]. But we will pay good bonuses because the year was good and everything went well”.

This bonus will be paid in Portugal for the 16th consecutive year. Last year, it was awarded to 23,000 employees from operations in Portugal – 84% of those eligible – along with their April salary. 11 million euros were distributed on the national market and around 50 million euros globally to a total of 80,100 people in Portugal, Poland and Colombia.
