Lecture in Lagoa Municipal Library

Tuesday 29th March at 18:00: Peter Booker will present The Carnation Revolution. We approach the 46th anniversary of this momentous event in the history of Portugal, and it is fitting that we should pay homage to the heroes of that day. In particular we should commemorate Salgueiro Maia, the one man who is considered the purest symbol of the revolution. History Association lectures are free, but numbers attending are limited. At the Library, we are also governed by Câmara rules, and the wearing of masks is required. If you wish to attend, contact Lynne by email lynne.algarvehistory@gmail.com.
