During the operation, carried out throughout the national territory and focusing especially on speeding and driving under the influence, the PSP carried out 119 inspections, which culminated in 50,889 vehicles being inspected by radar, 50% more compared to the same period of 2021.

In a statement, the PSP also said that 3,187 drivers were tested, and it was found that 175 were not physically fit to drive (71 at the level of misdemeanor and 104 at the level of crime).

As part of the operation, 3,025 miscellaneous offenses were also detected and 199 citizens were arrested, 65 of whom lacked a legal license to drive and 104 were driving under the influence of alcohol with a rate greater than 1.20 g/l.
