Five years ago, on April 7, 2017, the factory on Rua Sá da Bandeira, in the heart of the city of Porto, started producing its craft beer.

To mark the anniversary, the party starts on Thursday, April 7th, with the brewery paying for the first round, with all Brewpub customers entitled to a free 20cl Lager.

On the 8th and 9th of April, Friday and Saturday, the brewery will turns into a kind of English pub, with service to match and with six more beers on tap, especially for this anniversary. There is also a special “street food” style menu, with hotdogs, pizzas and other surprises.

To liven up the celebration even more, there will be music from 19.00h and beer pong tables.

Pedro Mota, CEO of the company, explains that “in this half-decade of Nortada I feel, with special pleasure, that the concepts and value proposition that were designed for our brand were well received and interpreted. These were years full of challenges, both internal (as in any start-up) and external, including a not-so-common one like a pandemic. All of them made Nortada's growth an extremely enriching experience and it is this experience that we want to pass on to our customers and friends in the coming days of celebration.”

The production of all Cerveja Nortada is carried out in the historic centre of the city of Porto, in a space that, in addition to being a production unit, works as a restaurant space where anyone can try the brand’s beers while observing the production of the beer at the same time.
