Galp has begun to apply higher tariffs to domestic customers, with monthly increases of up to three euros for natural gas and between one and two euros for electricity.

In a note sent to customers on March 14, quoted by the Lusa agency, the company stressed that the new prices reflected “the increase in the cost of acquiring energy in line with the evolution of the price in the international market”, indicating the new values.

This is the second time that Galp has increased prices this year, as it had already done so in January. At the time, the company's official source, quoted by the online newspaper Eco, said that as of January 1, “Galp's final electricity and natural gas prices will be updated […]. For the most representative contracted powers, the monthly increase in the electricity bill for Galp customers will, on average, be around 2.7 euros”.
