According to the Instituto Português do Mar e da Atmosfera (IPMA), the districts of Braga, Viana do Castelo, Porto, Aveiro, Coimbra, Leiria and Lisbon will be under yellow warning between 15:00 today and 00:00 Wednesday, given the forecast of strong wind, temporarily with gusts of the order of 70 kilometers per hour (km/h).

In the districts of Setúbal, Beja and Faro, this wind warning is valid between 21:00 today and 00:00 on Wednesday.

Due to the swell, with waves from the northwest with 4 to 5 meters of significant height, the districts of Braga, Viana do Castelo, Porto, Aveiro, Coimbra, Leiria and Lisbon will be under yellow warning, between 00:00 on Tuesday and at 06:00 on Wednesday.

This swell warning lasts from 12:00 on Tuesday and 15:00 on Wednesday, in the districts of Setúbal, Beja and Faro.

For today, the IPMA predicts strong wind on the coast and in the highlands, fog or morning fog and a small drop in temperature.

The IPMA issues a yellow warning whenever the weather situation poses a risk for certain activities.
