“In total, Delta will offer 14 weekly flights between Portugal and the US this summer, offering 440 daily seats in the peak season months, including 50 daily seats on Delta One. This is a 22% increase in seats compared to the summer of 2019″, highlights Delta Air Lines.

Delta Air Lines' year-round daily flights to New York-JFK and summer service between Boston and Lisbon will be operated on Boeing 767-300 aircraft and in conjunction with transatlantic joint venture partners Air France, KLM and Virgin Atlantic.

“Portugal is an important market for Delta and an increasingly popular destination for US tourists and beyond,” says Nicolas Ferri, Delta’s Vice President for Europe, Middle East, Africa and India (EMEAI), revealing that the company has “strong reservations” from American customers, but also from “Portuguese travellers eager to visit the US for the first time in more than two years”.

On the Lisbon-New York-JFK route, Delta flights depart Lisbon at 10:00 am, arriving in the North American city at 1:20 pm. Departure from New York is at 19:55, arriving in Lisbon at 08:00 the next day at local time.

The Lisbon-Boston route leaves the Portuguese capital at 12:45 pm and arrives in Boston at 3:15 pm, while in the opposite direction the departure from the US city takes place at 11:15 pm, arriving in Lisbon at 10:45 am the following day.
