Largest retail park in the Algarve opening this weekend

The largest retail park in the Algarve region, Sudoeste Retail Park, will open its doors on Friday, June 10, with around 20 national and international brands.

With easy access from the A22 in Alcantarilha, in the municipality of Silves, this new shopping centre promises to be “a new direction” for shopping lovers and will have opening promotions.

Continente Bom Dia, Hôma, Espaço Casa, Rádio Popular, Sport Zone, Burger King and Seaside are some of the stores that are located in this new shopping centre, with 532 parking spaces.

The Southwest Retail Park will be open every day between 9am and 10pm.

All these BS retail parks... Have seen this in Croatia, after a not so long period the clientel considers them obsolete and go somewhere else.
Assistance for high street shops makes it nicer for both the shop owners and the shoppers alike. Plus it reduces car movement. This is not sustainable at al.

All the same shops that already exist within a 5 km radius. A new direction for one Retail Park. Potential closure of another. Who has gained ?

Nice!
But it seems MUCH SMALLER than the massive MAR Shopping Algarve, on the A22 above Faro, which must have thousands of parking spaces, a huge IKEA, big and very cheap Primark with British clothing, and cinema amongst many more. It's busy until 11pm every night, and at weekends it can be difficult to find a parking space!
