DECO took part in the 7th meeting of the Local Monitoring Council, which took place on 16 May at the Cineteatro de Loulé, where the Loulé Municipal Climate Action Plan, the Municipal Drought Contingency Plan, the Agenda for Sustainability, Forests, Biodiversity and Rural Development of the municipality of Loulé were presented.

DECO hopes to actively participate in this Council and play an active role in the community, thus raising consumer awareness and encouraging their participation in their cities and local administrations regarding climate transition.

They therefore call on all consumers to take action by assessing their municipality through the DECO website at www.deco.pt/alteracoes-climaticas/ and share what DECO can do for your municipality.

“We will be your voice with the municipality to demand specific measures to address to those problems”, DECO told The Portugal News.
