Workers at the Metropolitano de Lisboa (ML) are on Sunday holding a new 24-hour strike in protest against the lack of working.

“The strike will take place on the 26th, Sunday, between 00:00 and 24:00, but the disturbances in the service will start on Saturday”, said Sara Gligo, from Fectrans.
Sara Gligo said that the workers decided to maintain the stoppage, scheduled a few weeks ago, despite the announcement by Metropolitano de Lisboa that it has already started hiring train drivers and is strengthening maintenance teams.

I think the Metro organization should talk with the MTR Corporation of Hong Kong. They recently took the contract for the Elizabeth Line of London, as it is established as the smoothest running Metro service in London now. The MTR service of Hong Kong is possibly the best in the world. I think Portugal should learn from this service
