According to an analysis carried out by Lusa of DGEEC data,
published on the Infocursos portal (http://infocursos.pt/), the three courses
with the most foreign students were those of Dental Medicine at the Fernando
Pessoa University and the University Institute of Health Sciences and the
Management course at Universidade Nova de Lisboa.
However, the 2020/2021 academic year saw a general decrease
in foreign students, with a percentage of foreign students enrolled in degrees
at 10.8% (2.3 percentage points less than in the previous academic year) and
10, 4% in integrated masters (minus 0.9 percentage points).
In the 2nd cycle masters, there was a decrease of 4.1
percentage points, with foreign students going from 27.5% in 2019/2020 to 23.4%
last year.
In professional higher technical courses (CTeSP) there was
an increase of 0.4 percentage points, from 14.4% in 2019/2020 to 14.8% in
2020/2021.
