The smoke caused by the fires in Portugal is
visible from space.

Satellite images
released by NASA in real-time, through the NASA WorldView platform, show
columns of smoke columns originated by fires in Portugal. The fire that began
on Sunday afternoon in Murça, in the Vila Real district, is among the areas
where the plumes are clearly visible.
