The amber bottles not only carry the information that it is a new temporary bottle, but also add on the label: "We changed the skin without touching the apple". A necessary change to meet the growth in demand for Somersby, whose sales are 50% above the same period in 2019.

"There are, globally, and also in Iberia, some constraints in the production of white glass and, given the projected growth in demand from Somersby, we proactively decided on a temporary change [...] so as not to run the risk of supply and, above all, to respond to demand", explains the executive president of Super Bock.

According to a report by Diário Noticias Rui Lopes Ferreira said that the "new bottle" arrived on the market "a few weeks ago" and that there had been no complaints.
