According to a report by CNN Portugal, no justification has been disclosed for the one-month delay in resuming flights, as the suspension has already been lifted but air connections will only resume on August 26.

The operation of the Chinese airline will remain weekly, with flights on Fridays, connecting the Portuguese capital to the city of Hangzhou, located on the east coast of China.

Flights between Portugal and China were suspended in June, due to an outbreak of Covid-19 registered among passengers, which dictated their suspension within the scope of the Chinese policy of “COVID Zero”.
