This new route will be guaranteed by three weekly flights: on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays and will start from November this year. There are around 30,000 additional seats available for this route.

According to a statement sent by easyJet, the other 13 destinations already available for sale include other European destinations such as Barcelona, Milan Bergamo, Bilbao, Porto Santo, Toulouse and Zurich, which will be operated from 30 October.

The flights to Fuerteventura, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Marseille Provence and Marrakesh will start on 31 October. On 1 November, flights to Rennes and Valencia will start and on 1 November routes to Tenerife South and Birmingham will also begin.

José Lopes, easyJet's Country Manager for Portugal, said: "We are very pleased to put on sale another 13 new flights between Lisbon and our European network, as our customers can now book the destinations they want, meeting their needs."

In addition, the airline recently announced that they will have three more Airbus A321neo, the company's largest aircraft, at its Lisbon base. The aim is to allow easyJet to launch new routes and increase capacity to other destinations.
