“This is no longer a local event, it is one of the biggest cultural events in the country. There are 150 cultural programming activities. And, in this sense, there are many visitors from other parts of the country and even from outside the country, who come here expressly to participate in the White Night”, said Ricardo Rio.

Over the three days and more than 48 hours of “intense cultural activity”, the public can enjoy 150 initiatives, namely various installations, performances, public and contemporary art, exhibitions, children’s programming and concerts, divided across five stages, museums, concert halls and the city's public space.

White Night kicks off on Friday with performances by Áurea and Fernando Daniel on the Praça Stage, followed by DJ Wilson Honrado.

On Saturday, the celebration continues with concerts by Richie Campbell and Virgul.

Concerts by Sofia Escobar and the Braga Philharmonic Orchestra are scheduled for the last day, on the Avenida Stage, and by Trio Pagú, on the Praça Stage.

The city will also host, for the second time, the FENDA - Urban Art Festival, “an initiative that brings together local and international artists to disseminate urban art in the City and whose works will be inaugurated on White Night”.

“We believe that we will exceed the number of participants in the last edition, which will mean that, either on the night of September 2, or on the night of September 3, we may have almost half a million people here in the city. About a million people over the two days”, predicts the mayor of Braga.
