In a statement, the City Council said that the “Linha Ruído”
(808 910 555) is served directly by the Municipal Police of Lisbon, which “will
take the steps that each situation implies”.
The Lisbon Chamber stresses in the note that excessive noise
"is even one of the factors that most compromises people's
well-being" and, therefore, when there are breaches of the rules, citizens
must file a complaint.
"This line is a direct and dedicated channel for
citizens to report situations of excessive noise to the municipality",
says councillor Ângelo Pereira, quoted in the statement.
For several years, residents of some areas of Lisbon such as
Cais do Sodré, Santos and Bairro Alto have complained about excessive noise in
bars and on the streets.

Can we call this line also regarding exessive noice from plains? Those fly over at 3 am waking up everyone in my Bairo.

The noise level in Cascais at 4am every night is horrendous. Difficult to sleep. Disco music full tilt.

This must be done throughout Portugal. This is the reason why I'm thinking about moving to the forest or to the beach, the noise level in Portuguese cities is very high. I've moved a few times and it was very noisy everywhere - factories, dogs, cars, drunk people, teenagers it all stops making noise at 2 am and starts making noise again at 7. Except for the factories, the refinery and the port make noise all night.

Can we also call this line in relation to barking dogs.
There are many in Olhao, during the day who bark non-stop and sometimes in the night too, often their owners do nothing about it, such selfish behaviour.

People need to be mindful of making so much noise during late hours of the night and early morning. Nowadays no one seems to have respect.

The roundabout between Av. 25 de Abril and Av. Da Republica in Cascais is extremely adored by bikers and owners of very noisy sport cars, making living very very uncomfortable for the neighborhood. They often drive until 1am, which makes it hard to sleep.

Our immediate nextdoor neighbor has dogs in the yard which bark non stop all day long. We cannot enjoy an outdoor BBQ, or read a book on the patio. It is very disturbing.
