The musical programme includes more than 50 artists and bands, including Rosie Alena (United Kingdom), Meskerem Mees, Avalanche Kaito (Belgium), Bedouin Burger, Charlotte Fever (France), Jacuzzi Gang (Italy), Mabe Fratti (Mexico), As Docinhas, Filipe Karlsson, Cassete Pirata, Chica, Evaya, Iolanda, Kriol, Filipe Sambado, Soluna, Tomás Wallenstein (Portugal), Mainline Main Orchestra, Los Yolos and Verde Prato (Spain).

The programme of the Convention is "aimed at workers and students in the cultural sector and with a particular focus on professionals in the music sector", includes masterclasses, keynotes, debates and workshops, and will be developed around themes related to "the current situation of the culture and music sectors, such as: cultural policies; the music sector (and its future); accessibility, ethics and sustainability, and the night-time economy".

Among the guests are Tiago Fortuna and Jwana Godinho, founders of Access Lab, who will give a training on accessible events for people with disabilities and deaf people, as well as Kigo Elosegui, agent of Spanish musician C. Tangana, who will guide "a theoretical and practical class" on creating global and local identity and awareness for artists.

Kaitlyn Davies, who has already been at Sonar Lisboa this year, founder of the collective CO:QUO and web 3.0 expert, will give a workshop on creating an NFT.

The artists Puta da Silva and Rodrigo Cuevas, "activists and agitators of popular and folk music", will be at the MIL to talk about the tradition and reinvention of popular music today.

The MIL aims to promote and internationalise music from Portuguese-speaking countries, with the presence of festival programmers, performance venues, publishers, agency companies and structures linked to music production.
