A tiger has been shot by
police in India after it killed at least nine people according to the BBC.

Known as the “man-eater of
Champaran”, the tiger was killed after 200 police officers were tasked with
hunting it down. Attempts to tranquilise the animal were unsuccessful and
the tiger showed a "complete lack of fear" when surrounded by teams,
according to local police.
