According to the most recent data from AirHelp, of the 1.9 million passengers who departed Portugal in the month of September, 771,000 suffered some kind of disruption to their flight, whether cancellations or delays.

The figures from the organisation specialised in defending the rights of air passengers also indicate that 84,000 passengers are entitled to some type of compensation, according to a report by Publituris.

At European level, more than 18 million people saw their flights cancelled or suffered some delay, making one million passengers entitled to economic compensation, that is, 34% of the total passengers who suffered disruptions.
