In the future, the brand's customers will all have access to the same offers and the same prices, regardless of where they are located.

This new sales model will come into force for MINI in 2024 and for BMW in 2026.

“We believe this change will benefit all parties involved in the vehicle buying process. Customers will have an improved shopping experience. Agents will be able to continue with an attractive business model, and, for us, this represents a more direct contact with our customers", highlighted Massimo Senatore, General Manager of BMW Group Portugal.

According to the brand's statement reported by NM, this new strategy aims to "increase customer satisfaction, while seeking to reach potential new consumers, who are increasingly aware of the innovations offered by the digital world".

BMW thus starts billing the end customer directly, while each dealership receives a fixed amount per sale.
